Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) hosted the "KIOST Science Media Academy" on June 13 (Tue) at the Jeju Research Institute by inviting reporters from the Korea Science Journalists Association.

The event was organized by KIOST, which marks its 50th anniversary, to promote communication with the media, and introduced research results conducted by the Jeju Research Institute and inspected research facilities.

Director Kang Do-hyung said he expressed his ambition to share KIOST's research results with the public and asked for a lot of attention and encouragement.
